Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 3:00 AM AST 21 February 2017 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 3:00 a.m. AST today intensifying low located southeast of
Laurentian Fan.

At 3:00 a.m. AST today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over Quebec.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Wednesday quasi-stationary ridge located from
Newfoundland to Georges Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:39 AM AST 21 February 2017 A low pressure system southeast of Laurentian Fan will intensify
tonight and Wednesday. A ridge moving in from Quebec will help
increase northerly winds over southern waters to strong to possibly
gale force today. On Wednesday strong to gale force northerlies are
forecast over southeastern waters.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Laurentian Fan - southeastern half.
