Issued 10:00 AM NDT 31 May 2016 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 10:00 a.m. NDT today departing ridge located east of the Marine
District.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today low 999 mb located over western Labrador.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday low 1002 mb located near Belle Isle Bank.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today trough from 999 mb low located over the
Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday trough from 1002 mb low located on a
line northwest-southeast over the northern Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:56 AM NDT 31 May 2016 A low pressure system over Western Labrador is forecast to track
eastward through the Strait of Belle Isle today and into the Belle
Isle Bank tonight. The low will then continue southeastward on
Wednesday. Strong to gale force northwesterlies are expected to
develop over northern waters late tonight or Wednesday behind this
feature.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle - eastern half, East Coast - north of Cape St.
Francis, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank and
Northern Grand Banks.
