Sea.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Saturday low 982 mb located east of Belle Isle
Bank.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight trough from 985 mb low located on a line
northeast-southwest over southeastern Newfoundland.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Saturday departing trough located east of the
Grand Banks.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT Saturday approaching ridge located over Quebec.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 8:19 PM NDT 20 October 2017 A low pressure system over the South Labrador Sea will deepen as it
moves to lie east of Belle Isle Bank on Saturday. Gale to storm force
northwesterlies will develop in the wake of this feature.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Belle Isle Bank. Gale warnings are in effect for the Strait of Belle
Isle - eastern half, East Coast - north of Cape St. Francis,
Northeast Coast, Funk Island Bank, Northern Grand Banks and the
Southwestern Grand Banks.
