Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:14 AM NDT 24 October 2016 A low pressure system north of the St. Lawrence River will slowly
move southeastward today and tonight. Meanwhile, a trough of low
pressure extending eastward from the low across Southeastern Labrador
will move to lie over the Strait of Belle Isle tonight. Strong to
gale force northeasterlies north of the trough will back to strong
northerlies early Tuesday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast and South Labrador Sea.
