Issued 4:00 AM NST 19 December 2014 Today Tonight and Saturday At 4:00 a.m. NST today departing low located east of Greenland.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today low 991 mb located south of Newfoundland.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Saturday low 980 mb located southeast of Greenland.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today dissipating ridge located on a line east-west
over the South Labrador Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:55 AM NST 19 December 2014 A low pressure system south of Newfoundland will track northeastward
across Newfoundland this morning, then move to lie southeast of
Greenland by tonight. Strong to gale force northerlies to
northwesterlies will develop over southern and eastern waters as the
low passes south of the marine district.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
South Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, and the East Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters.
