Marine Weather StatementIssued 7:57 PM NDT 9 October 2015 A low pressure system will strengthen into an intense fall storm as
it tracks across the Gulf of St. Lawrence on Saturday, then over the
South Labrador Sea Saturday night. Gale force southerlies will spread
across most waters on Saturday ahead of the low, then shift to gale
to storm force westerlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Belle Isle Bank. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters
except the Southern Grand Banks.
