Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:46 PM NST 19 November 2017 A trough of low pressure south of the marine district will continue
its slow northeastwards track tonight. Gale force east to
northeasterlies over the Labrador Sea will continue through tonight.
Meanwhile, a strong low pressure system will approach Labrador from
the southwest tonight. Gale force easterlies will strengthen to storm
force southeasterlies over the Labrador Sea on Monday ahead of this
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
the Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters except Lake Melville and South Labrador Coast.
