Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday trough located over Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:18 AM NDT 23 April 2024 A low pressure system over the South Labrador Sea will weaken into a
trough over the Labrador Sea by this evening. Strong to gale force
northwest to southwesterlies can be expected to the south of the
system today. Winds will diminish tonight as the system weakens.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Lake Melville, South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, and South
Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast - north of
Hopedale, and South Labrador Sea.
