By 4:00 p.m. NDT Monday departing low 970 mb located southeast
of Greenland.

At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight ridge located on a line north-south over
western Labrador.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Monday ridge located on a line north-south over
central Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:26 PM NDT 22 October 2017 An intense low pressure system southeast of Greenland will remain
nearly stationary tonight then slowly move eastward on Monday.
Gale force northwesterlies will gradually diminish over coastal
waters late this evening and over the Labrador Sea tonight and Monday
as the low slowly weakens over the forecast period.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville, Mid Labrador Coast - north of Hopedale,
North Labrador Coast and Northwest Labrador Sea - western half.
