Issued 3:30 PM NST 1 February 2015 Tonight and Monday At 3:30 p.m. NST today deepening low 985 mb located over the Strait
of Belle Isle.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Monday low 970 mb located north of Labrador Sea.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today trough from 985 mb low located over the
southeastern Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Monday trough located east of the Marine District.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over the northern Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Monday trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over Belle Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:22 PM NST 1 February 2015 An intensifying low pressure system over the Strait of Belle Isle
will move across the Labrador Sea overnight to lie north of the
district Monday morning. Strong to gale force westerlies will spread
across the marine district tonight or early Monday behind the low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Gulf - Port au Port, Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast,
Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, Northern Grand
Banks and the Southwestern Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except the Grand Banks.
