Issued 9:30 PM NDT 20 October 2017 Tonight and Saturday At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight deepening low 985 mb located over the
South Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Saturday low 982 mb located east of Belle Isle
Bank.

At 4:00 p.m. NDT Saturday approaching ridge located over Quebec.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:18 PM NDT 20 October 2017 A low pressure system over the South Labrador Sea will deepen as it
moves slowly southeast of the region tonight. Gale to storm force
north to northwesterlies will develop in the wake of this feature.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast and Mid Labrador Coast - Hopedale and south.
Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters except Lake
Melville and North Labrador Coast - north of Saglek.
