Issued 8:00 PM NST 25 January 2015 Tonight and Monday At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight low 948 mb located over southern Labrador
Sea.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Monday low 944 mb located east of Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:55 PM NST 25 January 2015 An intense low pressure system over the Southern Labrador Sea will
continue tracking northeastwards crossing the Labrador Sea tonight
and early on Monday. Gale to storm force southwesterlies will
diminish to strong to gale force overnight tonight into Monday
morning.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank and the Southeastern Grand Banks. Gale warnings are
in effect all remaining waters except the Southwestern Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, Gulf - Port au
Port, Southwest Coast, East Coast - north of Cape St. Francis,
Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank and Funk Island Bank.

Higher than normal water levels and rough pounding surf along the
western and southern coasts of Newfoundland are expected to subside
tonight.
