Issued 8:00 PM NST 26 February 2017 Tonight and Monday At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over eastern Newfoundland.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Monday trough located east of the Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight intensifying low 968 mb located over
Labrador Coast.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Monday low 954 mb located north of Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:48 PM NST 26 February 2017 A trough of low pressure over Eastern Newfoundland will move to lie
east of the marine district by Monday morning. Strong to gale force
southeasterlies ahead of the trough will shift to strong to gale
force westerlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except South Coast, Southwest Coast, East Coast, Northeast
Coast and Southwestern Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, Gulf - Port au Port,
East Coast - north of Cape St. Francis, Northeast Coast, Funk Island
Bank, and Belle Isle Bank.
