Issued 8:00 PM NDT 22 March 2017 Tonight and Thursday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight low 1000 mb located over Nova Scotia.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Thursday low 985 mb located over eastern Belle
Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:45 PM NDT 22 March 2017 A low pressure system will track across Eastern Newfoundland on
Thursday morning and then intensify over the Belle Isle Bank Thursday
night. North of the low's track, strong to gale force northeasterly
winds will develop overnight and intensify to gale to near storm
force northwesterlies late Thursday. South of the track, strong to
gale force southeasterly winds will develop this evening and shift to
strong to gale force southwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, Northeast Coast,
and Belle Isle Bank.
