By 3:30 p.m. NDT Monday departing low 970 mb located southeast
of Greenland.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today trough from 950 mb low located over southern
Funk Island Bank.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight departing trough located over the northern
Grand Banks.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today ridge located on a line north-south over
the Maritimes.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Monday ridge located southeast of Nova Scotia.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:16 PM NDT 22 October 2017 A trough of low pressure associated with an intense low southeast of
Greenland will give gale force northwesterlies over eastern waters
tonight as it swings southward. These winds will diminish by Monday
morning as the low weakens and moves east.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Strait of Belle Isle - eastern half, East Coast, Northeast Coast,
Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, and the northern and Southeastern
Grand Banks.
