Issued 3:30 PM ADT 23 March 2017 Tonight and Friday At 3:30 p.m. ADT today low 996 mb located south of Newfoundland.
By 9:00 p.m. ADT tonight departing low 983 mb located northeast
of Newfoundland.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT Friday ridge located west of the Marine District.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Friday ridge located on a line north-south over
the central Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:13 PM ADT 23 March 2017 A low pressure system south of Newfoundland will track northeastward
this evening to lie northeast of Newfoundland tonight. Gale to storm
force north to northwesterlies are occuring across much of the
district associated with the low.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Banquereau. Gale warnings are in effect for Georges Bank, West
Scotian Slope, eastern shore-eastern half, Sable-eastern half, East
Scotian Slope, Fourchu, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, Northumberland
Strait-eastern half, Gulf-Magdalen and Anticosti.

Freezing spray warnings are in effect for all marine waters.
