Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:13 PM ADT 23 March 2017 A low pressure system south of Newfoundland will track northeastward
this evening to lie northeast of Newfoundland tonight. Gale to storm
force north to northwesterlies are occuring across much of the
district associated with the low.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Banquereau. Gale warnings are in effect for Georges Bank, West
Scotian Slope, eastern shore-eastern half, Sable-eastern half, East
Scotian Slope, Fourchu, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, Northumberland
Strait-eastern half, Gulf-Magdalen and Anticosti.
Freezing spray warnings are in effect for all marine waters.
