of the Marine District.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Friday low 979 mb located over LaHave Bank.

Issued 9:49 AM ADT 28 March 2024 A stationary trough sits over the region today. An area of lowpressure will then approach from the southwest on Friday. Strong
southerly winds will veer to west or northwest gales in the storm's
wake and may possibly reach storm force in the vicinity of the low.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern shore,
LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope and East Scotian Slope - western
half.
