Marine District.
By 10:00 a.m. ADT Friday low 998 mb located over southwestern
Nova Scotia.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT Friday low 1002 mb located over Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:46 PM ADT 5 May 2016 A low pressure system southwest of the marine district will track
slowly northeastward to lie over Nova Scotia by Friday afternoon.
Strong southerly winds will develop ahead of this system and are
expected to reach gale force over southern waters tonight before
gradually easing on Friday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank..West Scotian Slope and East Scotian Slope.
