At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight trough located from Labrador to the
Great Lakes.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Friday trough located from the Strait of Belle
Isle to New Brunswick.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:40 AM AST 26 November 2015 A trough of low pressure will approach the northern marine district
today giving strong to gale force southwesterlies over Gulf of St.
Lawrence waters.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Banquereau-northern half..Cabot Strait and all Gulf of St. Lawrence

Outlook for the startup of the Southwest Nova lobster fishery.

Sunday..Northeast 20 to 25 knots becoming west 10 to 15 in the
afternoon. Waves 1-2 metres in the morning diminishing to zero-1 by

Monday..West 20 becoming north 20-25 near mid-day. Waves 1-2 metres.

Tuesday..Light winds.
