Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:59 AM AST 18 December 2014 A low pressure system over Northern Nova Scotia will slowly track
northeast to lie over Newfoundland by Friday morning. Strong to gale
force easterlies ahead of the low shift to strong to gale force
westerlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank,
eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian Slope, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan
- eastern half, Cabot Strait, Gulf-Magdalen - northern half,
Chaleur-Miscou, and Anticosti.
