Nova Scotia.
By 3:30 p.m. AST today trough located east of the Marine District.

At 3:00 a.m. AST today deepening low located over southern
Laurentian Fan.
By 10:00 a.m. AST today low located over the southwestern Grand
Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. AST Saturday intensifying low 991 mb located south
of East Scotian Slope.
By 3:30 p.m. AST Saturday low 982 mb located over Banquereau.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:55 AM AST 12 February 2016 A trough of low pressure over Nova Scotia will slowly move over the
marine district coming to lie over the eastern marine district this
morning. A period of gale force winds are forecast in the vicinity
Of the trough as it passes over the marine district.
Meanwhile a low pressure system will pass through Laurentian Fan
This morning. Gale force winds are forecast south of the low passing
over the Laurentian Fan.
On Saturday a low will develop south of the marine district and
Track
Through eastern waters to lie over Newfoundland by Saturday evening.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Laurentian Fan. Gale warnings are in effect for Lurcher..
