northeast-southwest over northern New Brunswick.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Tuesday departing trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Banquereau.

At 3:00 a.m. AST Tuesday ridge located over New England.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Tuesday ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Laurentian Fan.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:48 PM AST 27 February 2017 A trough of low pressure over Northern New Brunswick will move
southeast to lie over Banquereau after midnight. Strong to gale force
southwesterlies ahead of the trough shift to strong to gale force
northwesterlies behind it. Winds will gradually diminish on Tuesday
as a ridge of high pressure moves across the district.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
eastern shore, Sable, Fourchu, Cabot Strait, Gulf-Magdalen,
Chaleur-Miscou and Anticosti.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Cabot Strait, Northumberland Strait, Gulf-Magdalen,
Chaleur-Miscou and Anticosti.
