Issued 3:00 AM ADT 25 September 2016 Today Tonight and Monday At 3:00 a.m. ADT today quasi-stationary trough located northeast
of Newfoundland.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT today ridge located on a line north-south over
the Great Lakes.
By 9:00 a.m. ADT Monday ridge located on a line north-south over
New England.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:49 AM ADT 25 September 2016 An outbreak of cold air combined with warm waters and favourable
atmospheric conditions will give the potential for waterspout
development today over Southern Gulf of St. Lawrence waters, and the
eastern half of the Northumberland Strait.

Marine interests are advised that a waterspout watch is in effect for
Gulf-Magdalen and the Northumberland Strait.

As of 3:00 AM ADT the center of tropical storm Karl was located near
latitude 36.0 north and longitude 55.8 west. Maximum sustained winds
were 55 knots and minimum central pressure was 991 MB. Karl was
moving toward the northeast at 30 knots.

This storm will not have any significant impact on Atlantic Canada.
