Issued 1:23 PM EDT 24 June 2017 Conditions are favourable for the development of squalls with wind gusts up to 35 knots.

A line of thunderstorms will soon reach the Saguenay from the Saint-Jean lake. It is moving eastward at 20 knots.

Mariners are advised to prepare for potential squalls. Vulnerable vessels are most at risk and should seek safe harbour if underway.
