By 10:00 a.m. ADT Tuesday weakening low located over the Gulf of
St. Lawrence.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT today low located south of Cape Cod.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low located over Laurentian Fan.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:41 AM ADT 24 October 2016 A low pressure system over Southeastern Quebec will gradually weaken
today and tonight as it moves to lie over the Gulf of St. Lawrence
Tuesday morning. Strong to gale force westerlies south of the low
will diminish today.

Another low pressure system will track across southern portions of
the slope waters this afternoon and this evening. A brief period of
southerly gales is expected this evening over Laurentian Fan.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian Slope, Fourchu, Banquereau,
Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, Northumberland Strait, Gulf-Magdalen
and Chaleur-Miscou.
