Issued 8:00 PM AST 11 February 2016 Tonight and Friday At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight intensifying trough located over Nova
Scotia.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Friday trough located over the eastern Marine
District.

At midnight AST tonight deepening low located south of East
Scotian Slope.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Friday low located over the southwestern Grand
Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:29 PM AST 11 February 2016 A through of low pressure over Nova Scotia will slowly move over the
marine district coming to lie over the eastern marine district by
Friday morning. A period of gale to storm force winds are forecast in
the vicinity of the trough as it passes over the marine district.
Meanwhile a low pressure system will develop south of the marine
district overnight passing through Laurentian Fan Friday morning.
Storm force winds are forecast south of the low passing over the
Laurentian Fan.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank..West Scotian Slope..East Scotian Slope and the southern
Half of Laurentian Fan. Gale warnings are in effect for Lurcher..
Browns Bank.. LaHave Bank and the northern half of Laurentian Fan.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
Effect for Fundy..Grand Manan.. Lurcher..Browns Bank..Southwestern
Shore..LaHave Bank..Eastern shore..Fourchu..Cabot Strait..
