Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:51 AM ADT 1 April 2015 A deepening low pressure system southwest of the marine district will
pass just south of slope waters today before crossing Laurentian Fan
later today to lie near the Avalon Peninsula of Newfoundland
overnight. Strong to gale force northeasterlies will develop ahead of
the low the shift to gale force northwesterlies in its wake.
These northwesterlies could briefly reach storm force. Gale force
southerlies are forecast south of this feature.
Marine interests are advised gale warnings are in effect for georges
Bank..West Scotian Slope..Eastern shore - eastern half..Sable -
Eastern half..East Scotian Slope..Fourchu..Banquereau and Laurentian
