Western Lake ErieIssued 1:58 PM EDT 27 August 2016 Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms this afternoon into this evening. These thunderstorms may be capable of producing wind gusts up to 50 knots, frequent lightning and poor visibility in heavy rain.
Mariners are advised to prepare for potential squalls. Vulnerable vessels are most at risk and should seek safe harbour if underway. Consider delaying or postponing travel in areas under the Squall Watch.
