Western Lake ErieIssued 02:57 AM EDT 31 July 2016 Conditions are favourable for the development of wind gusts up to 30 knots, frequent lightning, hail and poor to very poor visibility in thunderstorms heavy at times.
Large hail can damage vessels and cause injury. Poor to very poor visibility may contribute to voyage delays and make marine navigation hazardous. Mariners are advised to prepare for potential strong winds. Vulnerable vessels are most at risk and should seek safe harbour if underway.
