northeast shores and in Little Traverse Bay. Patches of 9 tenths of
thick lake ice along the northern and eastern shores including Grand
Traverse Bay. 5 tenths of thick lake ice along western Beaver Island
and High Island. 1 tenth of thick lake ice in strips and patches
elsewhere in the northeastern section of the lake. Unusual presence
of ice southeast of Beaver Island.
