northwest-southeast over Labrador Sea.
At 4:00 p.m. NDT today quasi-stationary trough located over
Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:46 PM NDT 6 October 2015 A trough of low pressure will remain nearly stationary over the
southwestern coast of Greenland. Meanwhile, a ridge of high pressure
over the Labrador coast will drift out over the Labrador Sea this
evening. Strong to gale force northwesterlies will persist over the
East Labrador Sea tonight between these features.
Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
East Labrador Sea.
