At 4:00 a.m. NST today low 996 mb located over northern Quebec.
By 4:00 p.m. NST today dissipating low 1007 mb located over the
Northwest Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:50 AM NST 19 January 2017 A low pressure system over Northern Quebec will move to lie over the
Northwest Labrador Sea this afternoon and weaken. Strong to gale
force southerly winds over northern waters will diminish this morning
as the low weakens.
Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is continued for the
Northwest Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all open waters except the East Labrador Sea.
