Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:48 AM NDT 4 October 2015 A low pressure system over Baffin Island will deepen today as it
crosses north of the marine district to lie south of Greenland by
Monday morning. Strong to gale force westerlies are expected over
most waters today and tonight. Gale force northwesterlies will
persist over the East Labrador Sea on Monday as the low continues to
deepen south of Greenland.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast - north of Saglek, South Labrador Sea -
northeastern half, Northwest Labrador Sea and East Labrador Sea.
