Issued 4:00 AM NST 14 February 2016 Today Tonight and Monday At 4:00 a.m. NST today low 990 mb located over the North Labrador
Coast.
By 9:30 p.m. NST tonight dissipating trough located over northern
Labrador.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today deepening low 983 mb located over Funk
Island Bank.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Monday quasi-stationary low 958 mb located east
of Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today trough from 990 mb low located on a line
northeast-southwest over Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 a.m. NST today dissipating trough located from Ungava Bay
to Davis Strait.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:01 AM NST 14 February 2016 A low pressure system located over the North Labrador Coast will
slowly drift westward today, then dissipate over Northern Labrador
this evening. Strong to gale force northeasterlies to the north of
the low will diminish this morning as it moves off.

A second, deepening low pressure system over Funk Island Bank will
move northeastward to lie east of the Labrador Sea tonight, where it
will remain nearly stationary for the remainder of the forecast
period. Gale to storm force northwesterlies will develop tonight and
Monday over most waters to the west of this system.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
the Northwest Labrador Sea and East Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are
in effect for all remaining waters except Lake Melville and the South
Labrador Coast.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all open waters.
