Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:46 PM NDT 23 April 2024 A low pressure system over the Northwest Labrador Sea will weakeninto a trough over the Labrador Sea by this evening. Strong to gale
force west to southwesterlies can be expected to the south of the
system this evening. Winds will diminish overnight as the system
weakens.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, and South Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Mid Labrador Coast - north of Hopedale.
