Explorer.

At 2:00 p.m. PDT today quasi-stationary trough located over BC
interior.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:21 AM PDT 28 May 2017 A ridge of high pressure will remain over offshore waters and a
trough will develop over the BC Interior this afternoon as a
Response to strong solar heating. The contrasts of temperature and
pressure will give rise to strong westerly winds through Juan de
Fuca Strait tonight rising to strong to marginal gale late Monday.
