Issued 10:30 AM PDT 20 July 2017 Today Tonight and Friday At 10:30 a.m. PDT today ridge located on a line north-south over
eastern Queen Charlotte Sound.
By 10:00 p.m. PDT tonight ridge located on a line north-south over
central Vancouver Island.

At 10:30 a.m. PDT today frontal system located on a line north-south
over the central Gulf of Alaska.
By 5:00 p.m. PDT Friday frontal system located on a line
northwest-southeast over central Queen Charlotte Sound.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:21 AM PDT 20 July 2017 A frontal system over the Gulf of Alaska will move eastward and lie
through Queen Charlotte Sound on Friday afternoon. The front will
bring strong southeasterlies to the northern offshore waters this
morning and then spread to Haida Gwaii this evening. Gale force
southeasterlies associated with the front will develop on Friday
Over waters near Haida Gwaii and extend southeastward towards the
west side of Vancouver Island.
