Wind northwest 10 to 15 knots increasing to northwest 15 to 25 this evening and to northwest 25 to 35 late overnight. Wind diminishing to west 15 to 25 Tuesday morning then backing to south 15 to 25 Tuesday afternoon. Wind increasing to southeast 50 Tuesday evening.
A few showers ending Tuesday morning. Risk of thunderstorms overnight and Tuesday morning. Rain beginning Tuesday evening.

northeast-southwest over the Central Coast.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Tuesday cold front located on a line
northeast-southwest over central Vancouver Island.
At 4:00 p.m. PDT Tuesday frontal system located west of the
Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:49 PM PDT 16 October 2017 A cold front over the Central Coast will move southward to lie over
the South Coast overnight. Strong to gale force southerly winds over
the central and southern waters will shift to strong to gale force
northwesterlies in the wake of the front.
Another frontal system will approach the northern and central waters
late Tuesday. Winds will rise quickly to gale to storm force
southeasterlies ahead of the system Tuesday night.
