Issued 4:00 AM PDT 23 October 2017 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 a.m. PDT today deepening low 994 mb located southwest
of Bowie.
By 5:00 p.m. PDT today low 991 mb located over the Alaska panhandle.

At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight quasi-stationary frontal system located
on a line northeast-southwest over southern Hecate Strait.

At 10:30 a.m. PDT Tuesday low 1012 mb located west of the offshore
waters.
By 5:00 p.m. PDT Tuesday low 1009 mb located over Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:00 AM PDT 23 October 2017 A deepening low offshore will move northeastward across Bowie this
morning then reach the Alaska Panhandle late this afternoon. Ahead of
the low, southerly gales over the northern and central waters will
rise to storm force this morning. Winds will shift to gale force
westerlies in the wake of the low then ease to strong tonight.
The associated front will remain over Southern Hecate Strait tonight
with southerly gales persisting over the central waters.

On Tuesday, another low pressure system will move to lie over Bowie
in the afternoon. Southerly gales will redevelop over the northern
waters ahead of the low.
