Issued 4:00 PM PDT 26 September 2016 Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 p.m. PDT today weakening cold front located on a line
northeast-southwest over Port Hardy.
By 2:00 a.m. PDT Tuesday departing cold front located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Lower Mainland.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT today ridge located west of Bowie.
By 5:00 a.m. PDT Tuesday ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over Queen Charlotte Sound.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:58 PM PDT 26 September 2016 A cold front across Northern Vancouver Island will slide
southeastward tonight, reaching Northwestern Washington state just
after midnight. A ridge of high pressure will build across the
central part of the coast on Tuesday.

Moderate to strong south or southeast winds will prevail ahead of
The cold front. Winds will shift to moderate to strong northwest in
its wake with gales forecast off the west coast of Vancouver Island
and through Johnstone Strait.
