By 4:00 p.m. PDT today dissipating trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Cape St. James.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over the South Coast.

Issued 3:45 AM PDT 13 October 2015 A trough of low pressure over Bowie this morning will move through
Haida Gwaii today. The trough will bring marginal gale force
southerly winds across parts of the northern waters this morning. The
trough will rapidly weaken through the day causing the southerlies
To ease to moderate to strong winds by midday. In the wake of the
trough, winds will shift to moderate to strong westerlies.
