Issued 9:30 PM PST 7 December 2016 Tonight and Thursday At 10:00 p.m. PST tonight quasi-stationary ridge located over
BC interior.

At 10:00 p.m. PST tonight deepening frontal system located southwest
of Bowie.
By 4:00 a.m. PST Friday frontal system located over northwestern
Explorer.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:18 PM PST 7 December 2016 An Arctic ridge of high pressure will remain over the BC Interior
tonight and Thursday. Storm force outflow winds will develop through
mainland inlets tonight. Cold temperatures from the Arctic outflow
winds will give a risk of moderate freezing spray near most mainland
inlets.

A strong frontal system southwest of Bowie will intensify and stall
over Northern Explorer by Friday morning. Gale to storm force
southeasterlies ahead of the system will spread to most South Coast
regions.
