line northeast-southwest over southern Hecate Strait.

At 4:00 p.m. PST today building ridge located over the South Coast.
By 4:00 a.m. PST Friday quasi-stationary ridge located over the
North Coast to the South Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:26 AM PST 5 March 2015 A frontal system will sweep northeastwards through the northern
waters today then move inland early this evening. Ahead of the
system, strong to gale force southwest winds will occur across the
central waters and parts of the northern waters. The winds will
weaken to moderate to strong westerly winds by this evening.
