Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:49 AM PST 2 March 2015 A strong ridge of high pressure just off Bowie will move very slowly
eastward as it builds. This ridge will result in a marginal gale
force northerly flow across the marine regions. A weak inverted
trough near Tofino serves to protect West Coast Vancouver Island
South from the northerly flow.

A second ridge building in the British Columbia Interior will push
marginal gale force outflow winds out of the mainland inlets and
valleys.
