Cape Scott extending southwestward.

At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight frontal system located southwest of
Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Monday low 992 mb located over northwestern
Explorer.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:56 AM PST 25 January 2015 A quasi-stationary cold front over Northern Vancouver Island will
give strong southerly winds to the south of the front today. Another
Pacific frontal system will develop west of Explorer tonight and move
onto the offshore waters Monday morning. Strong to gale force
southeast winds ahead of the system will shift to westerly in its
wake.
