Wind southeast 35 to 45 knots becoming southeast 40 to 50 early this evening then diminishing to south 25 to 35 late overnight. Wind diminishing to southerly 15 to 25 near noon Tuesday except southeast 35 over southeastern sections. Wind becoming southwest 25 to 35 Tuesday evening.

By 4:00 a.m. PST Tuesday departing frontal system located over
the North Coast.

At 4:00 p.m. PST today low 1001 mb located over southeastern
By 10:00 p.m. PST tonight low 1004 mb located over Queen Charlotte

At 1:00 a.m. PST Tuesday intensifying frontal system located
over Explorer.
By 7:00 p.m. PST Tuesday frontal system located over Vancouver

At 4:00 p.m. PST today weakening ridge located over BC interior.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:54 PM PST 30 November 2015 A north to south aligned front west of Haida Gwaii will move eastward
through the North Coast tonight. Meanwhile, a 1001 millibar low
Over Explorer will track northeastward to lie off Cape Scott this

Strong to gale force southeasterlies will prevail over most
Waters ahead of the front and low. Storm force southeasterlies
Off the west coast of Vancouver Island and off the Central Coast will
spread to Hecate Strait and Dixon Entrance East this evening.

On Tuesday, another frontal system will move through the South Coast
bringing gale to storm force southeasterlies, while winds remain
mostly moderate to strong southerly over the north.
