By 5:00 p.m. PDT Sunday weakening low 1002 mb located over the
Alaska panhandle.

At 10:30 a.m. PDT today frontal system located from Langara to
the Washington Coast.
By 5:00 p.m. PDT today departing frontal system located on a line
northwest-southeast over the Mainland Coast.

At 11:00 a.m. PDT Sunday building ridge located over the South

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:28 AM PDT 21 October 2017 A frontal system along the outer coast this morning will move inland
this afternoon, bringing gale to storm force southeasterlies.
Winds will shift to strong southerly in its wake, with a large area
of gale force southwesterlies developing off the outer coast and
Over the offshore waters, thanks to a deep low pressure centre
passing the north of Bowie tonight and Sunday morning. Winds will
ease to moderate to strong southerly Sunday afternoon as the low
weakens over the Alaska Panhandle and a ridge of high pressure
Builds over the South Coast.
