Issued 9:30 PM PST 25 February 2017 Tonight and Sunday At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight quasi-stationary high 1045 mb located at
49N 156W.

At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight deepening low 1008 mb located over
Cape Scott.
By 7:00 a.m. PST Sunday departing low 1002 mb located off the
Washington Coast.

At 7:00 a.m. PST Sunday quasi-stationary trough from low located
from the Washington Coast to the North Coast.

At 10:00 p.m. PST tonight building ridge located over northern
BC interior.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:29 PM PST 25 February 2017 A 1045 millibar high will remain well outside the offshore waters. A
1008 millibar low near Cape Scott will move southeastward along the
coast tonight and will deepen to about 1002 millibars by Sunday
morning as it reaches the Washington coast. A ridge of high pressure
will be building over the Northern BC Interior tonight and will
weaken Sunday.

Widespread northerly gales will prevail over most northern waters
And over most waters off the west coast of Vancouver Island tonight.
On Sunday, winds will gradually ease to below gale force over most
areas. In addition, strong to gale force northeast outflow winds
Will develop through the Northern Mainland inlets tonight.
