over Cape Scott.
By 8:00 p.m. PDT tonight weakening ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over Cape Scott.

At 8:00 a.m. PDT Saturday cold front located over Queen Charlotte
Sound.
By 7:00 p.m. PDT Saturday departing cold front located over the
South Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:01 PM PDT 6 May 2016 A cold front will develop over Queen Charlotte Sound Saturday
Morning and move southeast across the South Coast. In its wake,
strong to gale force northwest winds will develop Saturday afternoon
over southern waters. A ridge building behind the cold front late
Saturday afternoon will enhance the winds through Juan de Fuca Strait
Saturday evening to westerly gale force.
